Donations may be made to the good work of the Horizon School, 51 Old Rd., Livingston, NJ 07039. Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey (CPNJ) is a nonprofit agency founded in 1953 to meet the needs of children with disabilities. The organization grew with the needs of local families and established its Horizon School in East Orange in 1976. Originally serving primarily students with cerebral palsy, the school’s mission expanded with its enrollment and began serving students with a wide range of disabilities. Horizon School relocated to a larger facility in Livingston in the fall of 2000. To provide a more age-appropriate educational environment, the agency opened its all new Horizon High School just one mile away in Livingston in 2005.
