~The Heart of One Who Listened~
He would have died for only one, but He died
For you and I,
As Christ laid upon that rugged cross,
The angels wept and cried.
So many times, He tried to say, it had to
Be this way,
Yet in the heart of only one, I thought I
Heard Him say.
“The glory of God will be yours forever,
Each time you think of Me,”
Through the spirit of those who've gone before,
His light has set us free.
It was through the heart of only one,
God made the spirit flesh,
When Christ gave us Nancy Jane He gave us
His very best.

Nancy could always make Buzz, my late husband, laugh by teasing him and calling him Grumpy. Her droll sense of humor was so very special, as she was. My sympathy and prayers to her family.

Kathy and Cindy, We are so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. Our deepest Sympathy, Hearts, Thoughts and Prayers goes out to all her Family. She was such a beautiful person, always smiling and joking and fun loving, she will be missed a lot. So sad, we were just getting to know our wonderful cousin again. Our paths hadn't crossed much since we were children. God has bigger plans now for you Nancy up there in Heaven, with all of His Angels. Rest in Peace, Nancy.

~I Believe In You~
I believe in you, in everything you've ever tried to do,
I believe that through the power of prayer, we all have a right to be there.
I believe more than life itself, it’s our sole obligation to help one another out.
I believe that without the ability to care, we've lost the greatest gift, to share
I believe that our eyes hold the keys, to light the path others cannot see.
I believe the heart that beats inside, is as important as the tears we cry.
I believe our sole purpose is to teach, reach out to one another and preach.
I believe our stories be told, to share with generations to come, young and old.
I believe that we have no greater right, to share each of our gifts in His sight.

~One Of God’s Special Children~
Jesus often said, “Be not afraid, I go before you always,
Come follow Me, and I will give you rest.”
When God gave us my sister, Nancy,
He gave us His very best.
So many times in our lives, we come to question God’ word,
As we kneel down to pray, we expect to be heard.
“Please explain to me, Lord, why it must be this way,”
Nancy has so much to live for and so much to say.”
Jesus might respond, “I’ve taken your sister and brought
Her back home, where Nancy shall live on forever,
And never alone.
She’ll spend the rest of forever in God’s comfort
And caring, surrounded by loved ones,
Their love and their sharing.
Nancy is one of God’s special children and
Although we don’t understand,
She has been given a place,
In His great master plan.

~The Light Behind His White Curtain~
I’ve always wondered, haven’t we all;
what really happens to you and me,
When each of us cross over the river,
to many things we can’t see.
A special place for all of His children,
filled with oceans of love,
An oasis of sorts, so they tell us,
in His Kingdom above.
But what intrigues me the most although
I’m not really certain,
Is the light that so many might’ve seen it,
behind His white curtain?
You see the love that our loved
ones might’ve felt,
and His warmth deep within,
was that of Jesus Christ,
the very essence of Him.

~Once Inside The Gate~
Once you’re inside His gate, you leave behind your tears,
Your mind is free of all you've known,
So too are all your fears.
Once inside His gate, the burdens that you've carried,
Seem somehow gone from sight,
Your spirit freed, you feel His warmth,
As you enter near His light.
Once inside His gate, you start to feel His
Love and strength increase,
Your earthly lessons over,
You find yourself at peace.
Once inside His gate, the scriptures
All come true,
Your soul be cleansed, your sins forgiven
He’s made you all brand new.
Loving Memories for My Sisters Nancy,
Carolyn, Diane, Mom and Dad…
I miss each of you and I will make you proud!!
P.S. Leave some angel food cake for me

~I've Heard About This Place~
I've always kind of wondered, but have never seen this place,
Where friends renew, with those they knew, a place I call God’s Space.
Close your eyes and wonder, and let your body rest,
His door is door is always open, accommodations are the best.
There’s a room right here, behind the door, a bellboy takes your things,
He’s take the things, you thought to bring, on a trail of angel’s wings.
As you take your time, you've got all day, you knock on other doors,
Greeting those who have gone before, in rooms on other floors.
You reflect and still remember, on those you've left behind,
Comforted in knowing, we’ll meet again sometime.
A dinner has been planned for you, with others you have loved,
A banquet in your honor, with greetings from above.
