I was so sorry to hear of Cyndi's passing. I went all through school with her. We graduated together from high school. She was always friendly with everyone. I remember her walking into our 20th H.S. reunion looking gorgeous in a red long gown (i believe). I will miss her at our 35th reunion. My deepest sympathy to the Smolko family.

Cyndi's and my lives were destined to intersect. We were born on the exact same day and our last names both begin with "Sm". In high school that means you end up on all the same rosters. Cyndi and I also worked together at Foodtown in Mount Tabor and enjoyed the junior prom together. Where is that embarrassing photo? Our romantic affiliations were frustrated ones, but we were flirtatious and good friends until I left NJ for Washington. I will remember always Cyndi's quick smile and laugh in nearly any situation and her horror when I smoked the tires of Gordy's '70 Chevelle 396 in front of the family home - she knew there would be hell to pay with her parents when she got back home. The irony of me as "bad boy" is pretty funny if you knew me. My heart goes out to all of the family and friends mourning Cyndi's passing. My memories of our time together are often visited.

Cyndi, kind and caring. I saw her plant many flowers, we shared many talks. I have had numerous rescue dogs coming and going. She was interested in each of their stories. Cyndi knew all their names and always gave them treats 'over the fence'.
So sorry for your loss.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smolko, Doreen,Sherry and family,
A void will be left in the world now that Cyndi has joined our beloved Lord. She was the straw that stirred the drink. I will hold on tightly to the memories of our time in your yard, working at the Foodtown, and driving the big ol'Buick. I meant to stop by so many times, and have lost the opportunity to tell Cyndi what a wonderful and couragous woman she was. Please know that she has always been in my prayers and will continue to be so. You are such a loving family she was blessed to see you all around her in her last hours. I am so sorry for your loss. My love to you all..

Mom, Dad, Sherry, Doreen:
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. The heavens have gained a wonderful spirit, a spirit that always treated me with kindness and warmth. As was the case when my Mom passed from this terrible disease, Cyndi's pain ends . . . and yours begins. My only hope is that you all find a quick path to healing and the wonderful memories that are always clouded during this difficult time.
You are all in my thoughts, my prayers, and my heart for allowing me to know your wonderful daughter and sister.

I am very sorry for your loss. Cyndi was truly a wonderful, loving person, that brought a smile to every one she encountered. She was very strong and courageous through out her battle but never let it show on the outside. Cyndi will truly be missed by many but the memories she has left us all with, will remain in all our hearts, especially your family's heart forever- therefore she'll live on in each of you. God has called another angel home, where she can be at peace. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies. Cyndi was such a wonderful person and so very outgoing. I'll always remember her coming into the Good to Go deli looking to buy her lottery tickets and buying a few "extra" for "her boys" Paul and Jon. May you take comfort in knowing that she's at peace and no longer suffering.
