Obituary of Steven John Parillo
It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Steven Parillo who died peacefully on February 27, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. He was called from life too soon after a long illness. He will be sorely missed.
Steven was raised in Rockaway, New Jersey and as a youth, he was very athletic and enjoyed playing sports. A graduate of Morris Catholic High School in Denville, Steven was quarterback of their football team. He then went on to earn a B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University from 1992-1995. He went on to work for many years at Telstra as their Financial Controller on Wall Street in New York, NY.
Steven was a great friend to many. Each of whom will remember his great sense of humor, a kind and caring heart…. as well as his passion for sports. Although his life was taken much too soon, the life he lived was vibrant and extraordinary. Steven truly made his mark on this world and upon those who enjoyed his company and presence.
Although we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his loved ones who have predeceased him, including his father, Steven Richard Parillo. His survivors include his mother, Carol Parillo, his sister Lynette Parillo Gallagher, his brother-in-law, Brian Gallagher, and his nephews, Brandon and Christian as well as countless friends.
If you wish to make a contribution in memory of Steven, kindly make your donations to the American Cancer Society by way of inmemof.org
