Ann (1st cousin once removed) will always be remembered as not only beautiful but extremely bright and with a clever way with words. Writing came natural to her - even her emails were delightful to read! A faithful Catholic, she was a volunteer Catechist at St. Thomas More Church in Morristown when she lived nearby. We would often share ideas and ways to teach the children about their faith. Always in attendance at numerous family functions, holiday dinners and weddings, she enjoyed being together with family, especially all the holidays she spent with the Bank's family. Always one to remember a birthday and send a card, Ann was interested in everyone in her family. She would ask about our children all the time. Ann maintained a lovely home in Rockaway which was tastefully decorated. She had a good eye for interior design. It was enjoyable to see the mementoes she kept on display. She was a nostalgic person and would take time to talk about her happy marriage to Ed. He was a good husband to Ann and she missed him very much. Married life agreed with her. When she faced her beginning battle with cancer, she stood strong and went about researching everything she could about the disease. I never heard her complain or whine... she was very brave all these years. When accompanying her to doctor visits or chemo treatments she always kept a positive outlook. She experimented with different hats, scarves and wigs when the time came, always smiling and upbeat about it. She always had her tote bag with her, though with notebook and pamphlets about her cancer. One to always write things down, Ann would go into doctor appointments well prepared and with questions. She followed the advice from her doctors and took care of herself the best that she could. Her strength and grace under fire was admirable. Her Christian faith always carried her through. May Ann rest in peace in the loving arms of Jesus for all eternity. She will be missed on earth~
