Angelo, or Ang as I would always called you..
I cannot begin to tell you had hard it is to let you go. From my earliest memories when your family came down to "the farm" in Jackson NJ, or when all of us kids would pile into my Dad's station wagon and we would visit your family in Carteret, you and I were inseparable. I remember how excited you were when you came down to see us, how you would always want to sleep in your Dad's car under the stars. Back then, there was very little around us and the stars were unbelievable in the woods of Jackson, more stars than you could believe even existed. We had as much fun as any two cousins the same age could have, whenever we could see each other. Of course we would try to stay away from our parents as the evening wound down in hopes that they would forget that they had children at all, get so caught up in their own conversations that by the time they realized how late it was, we all would have had more together cousin time. Then the goodbyes came, and somehow in all of our silliness, a song about licking a lollipop to the end, which would make your heart pop became our goodbye song. Angelo and his sister Maryanne and I changed the words to "when it comes to the end of a cousin, pop goes your heart" We sang that song every time we had to leave each other and it became a Mastrolia family tradition. Now, thinking of Angelo and all that he went through and knowing that he is in a better place without pain is a comfort to me, but honestly I would give anything to sing that silly song to him again, because when we did, we always knew we would see each other again. Until then, Ang I will remember you always in my heart.

I met Angelo 24 years ago at a lunch interview for a position at Selective. My first impression of him was a very kind, funny guy who made me feel extremely comfortable. After knowing and working with him for 24 years, I found my first impression to be fully accurate. Not only was he a nice guy but someone that I respected and considered a friend. If you know Angelo, he had a nickname for EVERYONE. Unfortunately, mine was "Dizzy" being as it rhymed with my last name "Maurizi". LOL.. typical Angelo. I will retain fond memories of a great man who passed way too young. Rest in peace. God bless his family.
Sincerely,
Dizzy

I am so sorry to hear of Angelo’s passing. I worked with Angelo during my 33 years at Selective and he was one of the nicest guys to work with. I will always remember him teasing me by calling my handmade quilts “blankets”. I think he did it to just to bust my chops. I’ll never forget the long hours we spent trying to reconcile reports on the various projects we worked together on. Heaven has gained another angel. RIP Angelo.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Angelo at Selective and he was a great person and a hard worker. We used to joke about how he wanted to "axe" you a question. I will keep your family in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with Angelo's family. I worked with Angelo for many years at Selective Insurance. He was a wonderful compassionate smart driven man. I have fond memories of my dealings with him on a daily basis on many projects. He spoke so highly of his family and you could feel his love for them in every word he spoke.

Angelo, {Pig}
It has been a week today since you've been gone. The emotions that evolved within that short week have been unfathomable for all. There was so much more I wanted to say, but words just cannot express the loss and emptiness we all feel.
As you know this family has endured way too much loss, hurt and pain the past few years. So hard to comprehend because on some level it just seems so wrong, and now we've lost you too.
Though we cannot bring any of you back, it pains us to lose you too! You were a source of inspiration, strength, & bravery.
I just want to say Thank you for all your support when I myself was at my lowest, Your friendship, your humor and laughter, your musical talents and all the fun memories made over the years, your big heart, and most of all Thank You for being You!
You will be missed tremendously and cherished Always by All!
Debbie, Ryan and family...My deepest sincere condolences. We've lost another good one... no doubt in my mind they are all reunited and having a blast in heaven. Watch over each other. Save a seat for us...Until we all meet again.
I Miss you Angelo with all my heart.
Your sister Maryann aka (Cow)

I still cannot believe that you are gone, Angelo! I will miss all the jam sessions, listening to tunes, especially Zeppelin. You were a great guitar player. I remember camping and fishing in Vermont and white water rafting down the Lehigh. We had some the most hellacious fires, I am sure Debbie remembers the last one in NY with the 20-25 foot flames. We had many good times together working on cars, shooting pool, hiking, going to concerts or just sitting around. Anytime we were together was a fun time.
You have had a rough few years, but now the pain and suffering are over. You are in a better place, but damn I still MISS YOU!! You are always on my mind.
Debbie and Ryan you have our deepest sympathies. Words cannot really express how I feel. We are there for you when you need us.

My brother Angelo.
We've had so many cherished memories growing up together, school, same circle of friends..busting each other. To adult years, awesome family visits. Recent talks & texts, especially when you'd text me a storm was approaching..you had it 1st .. watching the radar. I'd respond "Thank you weather man"!!!
It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye!
I Love you & will Never Ever forget you!
You're at peace now. Rest easy! Until we meet again.
Your loving sister Maryann
