Heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Johnny, special and wonderful man.
Loved to watch him and Agostino sit in the backyard under the Apple tress conversing, in Siciliano, laughing and enjoying life....

My best memory of Batista is when we first met, he approached me head on and told me "dont worry about anything you stick with me and they will all love you" he made me laugh instantly. THis is when I first met my husbands family Rosario Troia his cousin. He will be missed and thought of often. Rest in peace Batista God Bless xoxo

John was always a generous man.I would ask him for a donation,to build a playground, help the Salvation Army, Kiwanis club, etc, and out would come money from his pocket. He loved everyone, joked around,a pleasure to be around. He will be missed, along with his lovely wife Anna ,who he and all of us loved. Thanks for the memories.

To My Dear Pizzeria Family, I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I will pray that he rest in eternal peace with his lovely wife Anna. I loved the many years I worked at Denville Pizzeria. John was a demanding boss who taught me a lot about hard work and a strong work ethic. The lessons have served me well in life. John, and all of you, made me feel like part of a family when I really needed one. For that I am forever grateful! I will keep each of you in my prayers as you mourn this loss. Many sympathies and much love, ”Yola”

Please accept my condolences to the entire family. So sorry for your loss. John was an amazing man. I grew up in Denville and always hung out at Denville Pizza after school. He would love to tell us about Italy back in the day. He was a funny man that loved everyone he came across. He will be surly missed by many. I will cherish the memories and friendship we had. God Bless him John may you rest easy & thank you. xoxo
