Ellen, you are missed. I always called you Buffy. We had so many great times at the dog park. You were always so happy, funny and sweet. I'm glad I got to spend time with you and John at Cooks Pond with our dogs. Your bright light will never be dimmed. Condolences to John, your family and all whose lives you touched. I'll miss you Buffy....

I was shocked and heart broken to learn of your passing and I am certain those feelings were shared by everyone you touched. I don't know how to begin to express the impact you had on me personally except to say that you were inspirational and someone I greatly admired. Your loving presence may be gone but your beautiful soul lives on in everyone who knew you. Rest In Peace dear friend.

This image popped up in my FB memories recently and I was reminded of your silliness, your smile, your jokes, and that time you did a headstand on the back deck of the Fireside. Rest in peace, my old friend.

I think one of the greatest gifts Ellen shared with us was her smiling face and happy attitude. When she was our receptionist at Torre Lazur, our clients and suppliers always told us that when they called or visited, it was Ellens' wonderful smile or voice that greeted them and made their day. My wife, Diane, told me just the other night that when she visited the agency, how robust and happy Ellen was and how great it was to be greeted by her upbeat personality. Joe Torre and I would always remark about how important it was that the first person our visitors would meet should leave a lasting positive impact on our company. Truly, Ellen was that person. We love you Ellen. We miss you. And, I bet I wouldn't be wrong to think that Ellen is in heaven greeting all the new visitors with the same passionate smile she always had and leaving that wonderful first impression!

Ellen-
We cannot thank you enough for all that you did for us throughout our lives. The good deeds you have done were always appreciated. We know you are at peace surrounded by dogs and cats!
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Smell the sea and feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly
Into the mystic
And when that fog horn blows
I will be coming home, mmm mmm
And when the fog horn blows
I want to hear it
I don't have to fear it.
See you on the other side.

We will miss seeing you at yoga class Ellen. With your gentle voice, your pretty smile and always a kind word — you made people feel good just being in their presence. While you rest peacefully, your light will shine eternally. Namaste

Ellen was one of those rare souls of true compassion for all things and life in general. Her light will be missed by many, especially John, her hero as she would call him endearingly.

Ellen, From the first day I met you, I knew you were special. You were true of heart with a pure soul. You loved life and made other people better by being in your presence. I'm so grateful for the times we had together. You treated my kids like gold and they love you. We will miss you more than words, but you are no longer suffering, and I'm thankful the pain and agony you endured is now ended.May you be surrounded by the peace and love that you gave to so many of us. I will never forget the many special times we had, from the small visits with a Starbucks run, to your first time seeing Paul McCartney in concert with Alison and me. Be free and fly like the angel you are. Love you, my dear friend, and you will be forever in our hearts.
To John, Gerri, Loraine and all of Ellen's family and loved ones, our deepest condolences. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed.

Ellen had the kindest heart. She was a wonderful friend, a great listener, so encouraging. After you spent time with Ellen you felt better about yourself. Ellen was the best gift giver, she would find that unique gift that would make you so happy and you never knew you wanted it. Ellen was a truly gentle, kind soul. We had a lot of fun and good laughs together. I will miss her and try everyday to be as kind as she was.
My family and I send our deepest sympathy to John and Ellen's family, she loved them all.
