Obituary of Colleen Gladys Holinko
Please share a memory of Colleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Colleen G. Holinko passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 20, 2019. She was 73 years young.
A long-time resident of Denville, she was a Records Clerk for the Denville Police Department for many years until she retired in 1996. She and her loving husband of 44 years later moved to Neeses, SC after he retired from Denville DPW in 2009. She was a lifelong member of the Denville Community United Methodist Church in NJ and a faithful member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Neeses, SC. Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her treasured daughters, Lynda and Michele Maguire and her parents, Colin "Jack" and Kathleen "Kay" Homer.
She leaves only joyful memories to her beloved husband Michael A. Holinko; her loving son, William J. Maguire & his wife Heather (Scholer); her adored daughter, Judith K. (Holinko) Penton & her husband Daniel Penton; her cherished grandchildren Michael, Tyler, Teresa, Lindsay, Sherry, Kennedy and Jack; her caring sister, Lynda (the late Raymond) Gronemann; and many loving nieces & nephews.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th from 4 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 28th at 10 am at Denville Community United Methodist Church, 190 Diamond Spring Road, Denville. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. Memorial Donations are being accepted to the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 111 Littleton Road, Suite 221, Parsippany, NJ 07054. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Colleen here for her family to cherish.
