Obituary of Andrew Holinko

Andrew Holinko, 79, died on Sunday Feb. 10, 2008 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ.
Mr. Holinko was born and a lifelong resident of Denville, NJ. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from June 1951 until June 1953. He was a member of the Denville Fire Department for 52 years, was employed by Lakeland Bus Co., Dover, NJ for 27 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, Rockaway, NJ
His mother and father, Ann and John Holinko, a brother Charles Holinko, and sister Ann Holinko Cook predeceased him.
His twin sister Helen Vieten and brother John Holinko both of Dover, and nephews, Steven Cook of Florida, Kurt Vieten of California and a niece Joanne Cook Leach of Randolph, NJ, and three grand nephews and one grand niece survive him.
His funeral with Denville Fire Dept. Honors will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Andy on web site), on Thursday Feb.14th at 8:15am for a 9:30am service at St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church 64 Beach St., Rockaway Borough, NJ. Interment committal services at St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday Feb. 13th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Denville Fire Dept., 2 Indian Road, Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
