Andy,
I was in Denville on Tuesday and was asking about you. It was then I had learned that you had moved on to a better place. I will always remember the first time I worked for you in the Denville FD carnival food tent. I credit you for the hard worker I am today. I will always remember the respect and guidance you gave me as a young fire fighter.

I'll never forget the stories my dad (Jim Elliott) and Uncle (Bill Elliott) tell about Andy and "the little rascals" growing up together on Mendes Street. He was my Dad's best man at his wedding. He always had a big hug and kiss for me when I met up with him in town and watched over me when I became an EMT in Denville years ago.
We will miss him, but the wonderful stories will continue. Our most heartfelt sympathy to Helen in this most difficult time.
With love,
Debby Elliott Norris

I didn't know Andy personally but while reading the obituary my mom said she went to school with him. It said he was a Denville fireman for 52 years. I just buried my Dad saturday also through norman dean he served the Rockaway Township Fire Dept. for 56 years and I understand the dedication, time and support from family to do so. I believe you lost a treasure in Andy even though I didn't know him he must have been a very special man. My prayers go out to the entire Holinko family and the fire dept. Over a century of service by just 2 men ,incredable. May God Bless. Jeff Will
