Obituary of Janice L. Wortmann

Janice L. Wortmann (Long) passed away on Friday November 2, at St. Clares hospital in Dover, NJ. She was 67 years old.
Born and raised in Nanticoke, PA she had lived in New Jersey since her 20s and had lived in Randolph for the last 22 years.
She had worked in the mortgage industry for 25 years as an underwriter and in compliance, most recently employed with J.P. Morgan Chase in Woodcliff Lake, NJ before retiring in 2006.
Janice was a very strong and creative woman who had an incredible love for her family and, would do anything for them; she also had an open door for anyone who needed something. She was an avid gardener, and loved her rose bushes, loved nature, loved Maine, and England, and anything British. She also loved her cats, antiques, mysteries, and Murder, She Wrote.
Janice is survived by her loving children Barbra A. Wortmann of Randolph, H. Dietz Wortmann of Andover, NJ and Pete F. (& Rebekah) Wortmann of Parsippany, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Carnevale of Princeton, NJ and her dear friend Shella Navarro of Piscataway, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Tuesday November 6, at 8PM. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 6-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations can made to: The Lungevity Foundation 2421 N. Ashland Avenue
