When I think of Michael Colleton I think of a classy, quiet kind of kindness. I remember Maureen saying that she had married him in part because of this attribute. That conversation had a lasting impression on me as I thought about my own potential husband in later years. I also remember the Colletons building a small brick path between our driveway and theirs - essentially, inviting us to cut through. That too affected my sense of how neighbors should treat each other, and thus how I have behaved as a neighbor myself. Thank you, and peace be with you.

Words cannot express the void left inside. You were my boss, my friend, a second father. My life has turned out so much better thanks to your patience, kindness and guidance. I won't say goodbye, because I know I will see you again. But until then you will live on in my memories, my choices and decisions, but mainly my heart.I will miss you very much.
