Antoinette DeRiggi "Toni" (nee Santangelo) died on Sunday December 17, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville following a long illness she was seventy-six. Born December 16, 1930 in Newark NJ Toni was a resident of Denville for twenty-five years moving to Beachwood NJ in 1994. She returned to the Denville area a year ago. Antoinette worked for many years in the Parsippany School District and also at the Msgr Donovan High School in Toms River. Toni was loved and respected by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend she will be truly missed. Surviving Toni is her beloved husband of fifty-seven years Emil, children Linda and her husband Arthur Smith of North Carolina, Emil Jr. and his wife Gail of Massachusetts, Mary Ellen and her husband Chuck Saskowitz of Denville. Also surviving are her brothers Carmen and John Santangelo. Antoinette also leaves behind her grandchildren Courtnie and Alexis Saskowitz, Meghan and Adam DeRiggi and a great-grandchild Miles DeRiggi. A funeral mass for Antoinette will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2006 at 10:00am at St. Marys Church in Denville. Family and friends are invited to attend her visiting at the Norman Dean Home For Services16 Righter Ave Denville NJ 07834 www.normandean.com on Tuesday December 19, 2006 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Avenue South 17th Floor New York, NY 10016.
