Sorry to hear of Letty's passing. I practically lived in Letty and Rudy's house during the first 10 years of my life. I have fond memories of Letty and Rudy. They lived next door to us in the camp in Baranca and I spent most of my time there with Jeannie. The guacamaya that would call out our names all day...the pila we would swim in..the road that the tar would melt away in the heat...lemonade..our bicycles. Then we all moved to Cartagena and the fun continued..days at the beach..raw oysters that Rudy would bring home in big burlap bags!! Letty was my godmother. I still have a lovely charm that she gave me years ago that she must have bought in her travels to Asia. it is my good luck charm .Best wishes to all the family.

Wish I could give you a hug personally but please know you are in my thoughts. Your parents were good friends of my parents and I enjoyed keeping in touch with your mother long after my parents were gone. She was a good lady.

Letty was my first aunt once removed or something like that. I never could figure that out. I hadn't seen her in a long time, but kept up a little through Doug when I would see him. While visiting aunt Letty as a young girl and a young woman, I was always fascinated by all her travels and many adventures and jewels. She raised some good children and she will be missed. We will all look forward to reuniting in Heaven!

From when my parents moved into Fellowship Village, I heard about Letty. They used to play bridge regularly and Letty was an amazing player. It was so nice to get to now her, and Doug and we always enjoyed chatting at Pizza nights and Happy Hour. We shall truly miss her.
