George Sharp left this world peacefully on Saturday, September 13th, at the age of 75.
George was born on August 15, 1939 in Scotch Settlement, New Brunswick, Canada. He grew up on a small family farm. At age 17, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served proudly for 25 years and retired as an Officer in 1981.
George moved to New Jersey with his wife Nadine. In civilian life, he enjoyed working in the Hotel Service business as director of Convention Services in many hotels.
He returned to Canada in 1988 to serve in the Canadian Reserves.
George retired in 2001 to enjoy life with his families in Canada and New Jersey and friends in Florida.
Surviving is his beloved wife Nadine (nee Fogarty) and step daughters; Cara Weiler (Jeff), Mimi Dora (Robert), Lyn Selk (Michael), Johnine Chan (David); nine adoring grandchildren; sister Jean Murray of New Brunswick, Canada; and many more loving relatives and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Clement Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Saturday the 29th of November. Saint Clements is located at 154 Mt. Pleasant Avenue Dover, New Jersey.
