Papa George was the best grandfather I could ask for. I will forever miss Sunday dinners with you and Dean and hearing stories about when me and my sisters were little. I know you will always watch over us as you drink your wine in heaven!! Love you and miss you and I'll take good care of Dean

I was blessed to have met and to have spent quality time with George and Nadine over the last few winters while vacation-ing in Florida. George's great love of and respect for his dear Nadine were obvious to everyone while in their company. George's wonderful and quick wit, his contagious laugh, his warm and caring ways, his humility, kind personality, inviting smile and dry sense of humour were just a few of his wonderful characteristics which endeared him to both family and friends. George was a very special man who will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure and good fortune to have met him and to have had him as a friend.

Nadine and family I am sorry for your loss. George was a kind and thoughtful neighbor. I will remember all the slippers he knitted and gave away. I will miss the fine gentleman, who was always dressed so well. I had a mass said at
St. Christophers Church and lit a candle there as well.
Goodbye, my friend. Harriet

Wow, Walt must be happy!
George was a great friend, who would always help anyone in a difficult situation.
He was a tireless, volunteer in Pinecroft, working with his buddies Walt, Bert, Irv and Goomba.
He & Nadine hosted many parties, dinners and 'football' Sunday's, even though he never quite got the game. Most notable were the fabulous New Years Day chili open houses.
Karen & Craig, ("Tastes") will surely see a dip in their red wine revenue!
RIP George, until we meet again.

My Uncle George was a proud man. He loved his family and his country. He spent the last few years of his life with his wife Nadine and his extended family. He loved going to Florida every winter with Nadine and soaking up the sun. In Canada, he was always cold, even in July. it is difficult not to be there at his service but I will be remembering him along with others on that day and many days to come. Rest in Peace, George. I love you! Dianna

Florida dinner with George and Nadine. Oh what stories.
And their wedding day last year. He dressed like he does every other day. A true gentleman. They don't make them like George hardly any more.

George will be missed...I, for one, will miss all his wonderful stories of the past citing the exact year, month, date, day of the week and time of each event. Of course, we had no idea of the accuracy of these dates but it was fun teasing
George about them. Rest in peace George.
