I did not have the pleasure of knowing Sue personally. I am a colleague and friend of Sue's very close friend, Jess Restaino. Through Jess, and through reading Jess's and Sue's coauthored writing, I came to value Sue's many gifts, including the gift of loving life. She touched many, whether she knew them personally or not. I feel lucky to be among that group.
