I can attest to Stephanie's love to gab, feeding Allison’s friends, and her complete adoration of her grandchildren. I became friends with Allison in my late twenties when we both were having our babies and watching them grow.. Our oldest children Christian & Nick were born 8 weeks apart. Our youngest, my James & Allison’s Emily we’re born on the very same day! There were cold, relentlessly windy Saturday mornings where we were the young parents on the sidelines out on the RVA fields. And there would be Stephanie, this gorgeous white haired woman dressed with style walking peacefully out to the fields to watch Christian score many a goal even at the young age of 5! I admired Stephanie’s grace and beauty. But also, to me, from what I could see was an inner strength that truly glowed from within. Her joy originated from seeing her daughter’s and grandchildren’s joy. Stephanie is a true example of how to live and share the moments that really matter in life. A group of us went to support Allison when she ran the Quantico marathon in Washington DC. We were young professionals with good jobs & could certainly afford to buy the post celebratory meal. Well, Stephanie & Mark so generously covered the bill for an amazing Italian meal that night for the group. When you were with Stephanie i knew i would Enjoy a great chat about life, share funny moments of the kids & experiences and be fed very very well. A life well lived with love & joy. May we all hold her spirit to create positive energy with our own families and circles. My deep sympathy to my friends: Allison, Chris, Christian, Ava, Emily - Mark & Stephen.
