Obituary of William "Billy" Peters, Jr.
William “Billy” Peters, Jr., of Mount Tabor, passed away suddenly in the comfort of his home on Sunday, September 8, 2019. He was one day shy of turning 48 years young.
Born in Denville to William Peters, Sr. and the late Deanna Baker, he was a lifelong Mt. Tabor resident. An entrepreneur, Billy was a self-employed in the Construction and Carpentry business. In his spare time he loved tinkering on cars and cooking; he was an excellent cook. Billy was also a full time caregiver for his father – he was caring, compassionate, and a fun person to be around. Although he was taken too soon, we take comfort in knowing we have a fierce guardian angel protecting us.
Predeceased by his mom, Deanna in 2013, he leaves only joyful memories to his loving father, William Peters, Sr.; his adored sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Jim Philhower; his cherished nephew, Paul Philhower; and many cousins, extended family, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 13th at 7:00 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Billy with his family.
