Ida Crapanzano, 96, of Denville, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2019 at The Oaks Healthcare Center in Denville. Public visitation will be on Wednesday, August 14th from 4 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Funeral will begin on Thursday, August 15th at 9 am at Norman Dean Home for Services. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.

 

Ida was born in Moncalvo, Piedmont, Italy on October 21, 1922. She immigrated to Union City, NJ and lived in West New York, Cliffside Park, and moved to Denville in 2005. Ida was a dedicated wife and mother who always took care of everyone.

 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Angelo Crapanzano and is survived by her brother-in-law, Frank Crapanzano of New York, NY. Also surviving are her daughters, Linda Baranco and her son Jeff Policastro and wife Alexis and great-grandson Giovanni and her daughter Nancy Russo and husband Mario, Jr and great-grandchildren Francesca and Mario III. Her other daughter Nancy Devine and her husband Robert and grandchildren Christina and husband Ruaraidh Smeaton, Robert III, and Amanda.
