Obituary of William Anthony Boudreau
William “Bill” Anthony Boudreau, of Flanders, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was 71 years young.
Bill was born in Bath, Maine to the late Frederick and Cecile Boudreau. After graduating from The Hill School in Pottstown, PA, he attended Harvard University and received his Bachelor’s Degree. As a very hard and dedicated worker, he had many careers in the insurance industry in NYC, most notably as a Charted Life Underwriter. In 1994 he married his soulmate, Joanne Laratta, and together they owned their own business and loved to travel all over the world. Bill was a true family man. When he wasn’t spending time with his adored family, he loved cooking, gardening, watching football, playing golf, and staying up to date on politics. He also loved reading and sharing his knowledge. We will always remember his unmatched patience, quick wits, and unconditional love; he will remain in our hearts for an eternity.
Predeceased by his sister, Marguerite Boudreau, he leaves only joyful memories to his beloved wife of 25 years, Joanne (Laratta) Boudreau; his loving children, Anne Rosati and her husband Kenneth, William Anthony Boudreau, Jr. and his wife Leigh, Jeanne Boudreau, Eric Boudreau, and Thomas Boudreau; his loving step-sons, David Filardo and Sam Filardo and his wife Loretta; his cherished grandchildren, Blaine, Scott, Chiara, Nicolas, Ian, Barbara Ellen, and Anthony William; his caring siblings, Mary (the late Jacques) Baspeyre and Edward Boudreau and his wife Carole; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, July 11th from 6 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, July 12th at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 15 Myers Ave., Denville. Memorial donations can be made in his memory to
the American Liver Foundation.
Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Bill with his family.
