I am so sad to learn of Joan's passing. She loved learning and attended almost every FHU class for many years. One of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever known. Rest in peace, dear Joan--I will miss you.

I am Shirley Yaroshefsky's eldest daughter. Joan was my mom's closest friend at Fox Hills for many years. She adored Joan and often went to various events with her. They socialized daily at the 5 pm lounge event at Fox Hills.
When my mom moved to Assisted Living, she talked to Joan often and always told me how wonderful it was to hear from her. Joan surprised my mom for her 94th birthday last August. I picked Joan up at Fox Hills and got to spend time with her as well. It was a delightful day and a wonderful memory. She will be sorely missed and thought of often.
Our entire family was so fond of her. We all send your our heartfelt condolences

I worked with Joan for a long time at Byram Hills. I was a library aide and later the Assistant Principal's secretary.
She was one of my favorite people and one of the most Christian in the very best sense of anyone I ever knew. Even though I'm Jewish, I understood that her faith came from somewhere very deep and I had a great respect for it and for her.
I am very sorry to hear of her death.
My sincere condolences to her family.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family for your loss. May our loving Father give the entire family sustenance and strength you need to continue cope with the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in your precious memories and love shared. May the words of 1 Peter 5:7 “ while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

To the family of Joan Grimes
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. For words of encouragement please go to JW.org
Sincerely,
Roberta
