Robert Michael Vukas, 63, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 10, 2014 Robert was born in Jersey City, NJ and attended St. Paul of the Cross School, St. Peter's Prep and New Jersey Institute of Technology. He retired as a Postal Supervisor after 38 years for the US Postal Service at the Bulk Mail Center in Secaucus, NJ. Robert is survived by his wife Hyeran (nee Yoo), son Michael, stepdaughter Susan and his best pal, Buster, a black Lab. He is also survived by his sister Joanne Crowley and her husband Tim of Denville, and his brother Christopher and his wife Ginger, a niece Sara, and a nephew Christopher of Randolph, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert loved the New York Yankees, New York Giants and was a car aficionado and a musician. He was a member of the National Association of Postal Supervisors, continuing his service after retirement. Family time was most important to Robert and he will be missed by many. His funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at 11am at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Robert on website), committal interment services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, April 14th at the funeral home from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm.
