The shock and the sadness of your passing will last indefinitely. I can only find solace in the memory of the many good times that we spent together at family gatherings and watching the Jets and Rutgers, Army and Notre Dame football games with Chris. The road trip that the 3 of us took out to South Bend to see Notre Dame was a classic.
May you rest in peace, knowing that Michael will be loved and guided by Chris and Ginger and Joanne and Tim. He will never forget you as his father.

I had the honor and privilege to grow up with Robert on Webster Avenue in Jersey City. We shared so many good times since he went to St. Peter's Prep and I went to Dickinson High School and the football games. The summers play stick ball in the street. These were wonderful times. He will be so missed.

Knowing that I no longer will see you when I visit your brother, Chris, leaves an emptiness that only memories of the past can fill.

Robert was the definition of a good guy. He was genuinely interested in what you had to say, and didn't have a confrontational bone in his body. Whenever I pulled up to my parents house and saw he was there, I was happy because he was such fun to talk to. He knew about so many random things! He always bragged about Michael (rightfully so) and was so proud of him getting in to his schools, especially Montclair. He was extremely close to JoAnne and Chris. They talked several times a day, sharing their joys and fears, and saw each other often. They were happy to be in each other's company. You're at peace now, Robert. You were loved, and you will be missed.
