In high school, Dennis was one of my two or three best friends. We were on stage crew together, took Frau Whitmore's German class, and Mr. Sippie's English class together. We hung out in the park for hundred's of hours. Cruised around town in Fred's station wagon with Stefano Passalaqua, locking for "Pancho". Snuck in to the drive in Fred's trunk. One of my favorite memories of Denny was his playing soda can to Mountain's Mississippi Queen on the "Honor Trip" bus ride to Seaside Heights in Junior year. I've thought about him often over the past 45 years, and that has almost always brought a smile to my face, but not today.

I have fond memories of Dennis such a really nice person. He was so kind and had a gentle soul and was witty too! Not having seen him in many years I still remember him vividly and that is because he was someone who left an impression on you and that is why his memory will live on forever.
