Obituary of Louise Zuckerman
Louise Zuckerman, 94, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT.
Born in North Jackson, OH, to the late Steven and Mary Lepsik, she was one of eight children raised in Youngstown, Ohio. At the age of 16, Louise moved to New York City. That is where she met the love of her life, Harry. After a few years of marriage, they relocated to New Jersey to continue to raise their beautiful family. Louise was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who always tried the best she could to take care of her family. She was an accomplished seamstress who knitted and crocheted many things for her loved ones. She also had a passion for photography, painting, and playing cards. She will forever be remembered in our hearts and her legacy of hard work and dedication will live on in our hearts forever.
Left to continue her legacy are her adored children, Wayne Zuckerman and his wife Janet of Wilton, CT, Linda Steinkirchner and her husband Paul of Windermere, FL, and Denise Evans and her husband Frank of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Julie, Suzanne, Jeff, Michael, Brent, Heather, Jill, Damon, and Andrea; her 18 treasured great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
All services will be held privately on Monday, January 7th at Norman Dean Home for Services in Denville. Memorial Donations are being accepted to Dementia Society of America by way of https://www.dementiasociety.org/donate or send check payable to Dementia Society of America and send to P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901. Please light a candle and leave a condolence for her family.
