Aunt Bette was my very own “Auntie Mame”. When I was a child she used to take me to New York City on my birthday where we rode the tour buses, window shopped and ate lunch at Schraft’s. She started my Ginny Doll collection and let me play with her impressive music box collection. In later years I spent weekends with her at Fox Hills and we spent the time shopping, dining, reminiscing and above all, laughing. I will miss her so much. Bob and I send our love and deepest sympathies to Jay.

Jay
I am very sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences I never had the pleasure to meet your mom; however, knowing the son she had raised reflects quite well of her. It is never easy letting a loved one go; nevertheless, you should take solace and pride in the care and devotion you showed her through the good and the rough times, especially during the course of her illness. It is even more admirable that you were taking care of business by yourself. Cherish all the good memories and rest assured that your mom is at peace and is grateful for her dedicated son. Know this my friend, you may take comfort in the fact that you are surrounded by people (PSL’s) who care for you.

Jay your mom was a wonderful woman. Reminded me so much of my own mom. We were always happy to see her each year at Thanksgiving. We all loved her pies she brought and the company she kept with me and my family. She will be missed. Im sure shes resting with God. My prayers go out to you and your family.
