Obituary of Jacqueline Munro

Please share a memory of Jacqueline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jacqueline Munro, of Madison, formerly of Denville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Pine Acres Rehabilitation Center in Madison. She was 59 years young.

Born on June 25, 1959, Jackie was raised in Denville to the late John and Ellen Munro, she was one of eight children. Jackie went to Morris Knolls High School where she participated in the Marching Band as a tuba player and was on the girls’ basketball team. Upon graduation, Jackie attended County College of Morris majoring in Nursing. With her fighting spirit, she did not allow anything to step in her way. She was an avid Giants fan and found lots of joy in playing games, especially Candy Crush. Her bright eyes and beautiful smile would light up any room. What we will miss most about Jackie is her will power to never give up and her positive energy. She will forever be treasured in our hearts.

We find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved parents and sister, Ellen in Heaven. Left to continue her legacy of unconditional love are her adored siblings, Joanne Flood and her husband John T., Laurie A. Borshard and her husband Larry, Rhonda Krupna and her husband Walter, Diane L. Carroll and her husband Bill T., Robert J. Munro and his wife Mary, and John B. Munro, Jr. and his wife Nancy; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 30th from 3 – 6 pm with Memorial Service beginning at 6 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville.
