Obituary of Ann Parisi
Ann Parisi passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018. She was 93. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, September 12th at 10:00 AM at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Friends and relatives may visit beginning at 9 o’clock that morning. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
Ann was born in 1925 to the late Berardino and Immacolata Parisi. She was one of five children growing up in the family home in Jersey City. After high school, she attended Seton Hall University. She enjoyed school and learning throughout her life. She worked as a secretary for many years for Exxon Mobil, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed collecting stamps. She loved her treasures. Ann could be found painting in oils with her friends. She enjoyed being creative. She was a traveler and loved visiting new places in the world. She was a Catholic and attended Church for most of her life in Jersey City, her hometown and the place she loved the most. After leaving Jersey City she resided at Fox Hills, Rockaway. Above all, she was a sister and a dear Aunt to many. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace and has been reunited with her parents and her brother Joseph.
She leaves happy memories to her sister Rose DiSanzo, brothers Dominick and Bernard; nieces and nephews Joann Casbar, Linda Parente, Joseph Parisi, Florence Meier, Marc DiSanzo, Bernard Parisi, Cathy Kokkinos, Cherri Miller, Jacki Piersante and Alyssa Parisi; and many more dear relatives and friends.
