Obituary of James B. Graver

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

"You can always tell where a beautiful soul has been by the tears and the smiles left behind.”

James B. Graver passed suddenly on Monday, August 20, 2018.  He shared 39 years of love and laughter with everyone he met.  A Service in his honor will be held on Friday, August 24th at 11 am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, Denville. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.  Friends, family and fans may visit on Thursday, August 23rd from 4-7 pm.  Flowers are lovely, but those who wish to make a donation in his memory may do so to the good work of Making Strides of  Parsippany, by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.  Please share your memories here.  Jimmy’s family will cherish them forever.

On June 16, 1979, the world met Jimmy.  He was the third child to bless the Graver family and a perfect baby boy.  As a child he enjoyed nagging on his older sisters, playing Nintendo with his friends and a good game of man hunt.  After graduating from Parsippany Hills High School in 1998, he attended FDU in Madison earning his BA of Entreprenuership.  As a young man who enjoyed nightlife and entertainment, being a DJ suited him well.  He enjoyed this for many years.  In 2010, Jimmy met Heather Comero and the rest was history.  He adored her and they were fortunate to travel to over 20 countries together.  When he wasn’t seeing the world, Jimmy could be found at home cheering on his beloved NY Yankees & NY Jets. He spent much time raising funds for Making Strides of Parsippany.  He was passionate about finding a cure and has never given up in his beloved sister Nancy’s memory and others whom he fought so hard for.   His loyal canine Juno never left his side, and those in Denville who knew Jimmy, knew him through Juno.  Although we are broken hearted by his passing, we take comfort in knowing we will see him again one day and that we have another angel watching over this family with love.

He leaves a lifetime of happy memories to his wife Heather and their pup Juno; his Mom and Dad, Marlene and Barry Graver; his sister Amy Staats (Rob), his Mother in law, Lynn Brokke (Richard), his Father in Law, Norman Comero (Carol), sisters in law Robin Comero and Amy Moechnig (Doug), his dear nephews and nieces Casey, Hudson, Harper, Justin, Kayla, Meghan, T.J., Lauren, Sam & Ryan; and many more dear relatives and friends.  His dear sister Nancy passed previously.
