Obituary of William James Maglio

William James Maglio passed away at his home in Rockaway, NJ on July 2, 2018.
Born in Paterson he had lived in Wanaque, NJ before moving to the White Meadow section of Rockaway Twp. in 1973.
William proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Pipe Fitter for Union Local 274 in Jersey City for 48 years, 34 of those with Carrier United Technologies. He was very handy and always made himself available to help anyone in need. He also enjoyed spending time at his vacation home on Chebeague Island in Maine with family and friends especially his best friend Bob Haberthur and family.
William is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Katherine (Speck) Maglio. He is also survived by his loving children Nicole & her husband John, Andre, Christopher and his wife Nancy and Troy Jacobsen. He is also survived by his grandchildren Patrick, William, Jake, Brody, Shaylyn, Christopher, Michael, Katrina, Kayla and Corri, as well as his Great Grandchildren Bella, Brayden, Lincoln, Kaleah, Jordyn, Darren, Clarissa and Scarlett. He is also survived by his brother Nick and his wife Hope Maglio and their family.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday July 6, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 7, at 11:00AM at the Church of the Saviour 155 Morris Avenue Denville, NJ 07834.
