Adelaide M. Hall, of Denville, passed away peacefully at The Oaks Healthcare Center in Denville on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was 88 years young.

 

Born and raised in Brooklyn to the late William Balfe and Dorothy Hart, she was one of 2 children. They moved to the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville permanently as a family in 1957. Adelaide taught at St. Rose of Lima in East Hanover for 10 years as the 7th grade Teacher. She also worked as the Principal of Morris School District for many years. After retirement, she worked as a Substitute Teacher in Denville Township. Adelaide was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She loved to volunteer her time; as long as she was helping people, she was happy. She was a one of a kind woman that touched many lives. We will remember her giving and kind nature always.

 

Predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ralph Hall, and her brother, William G. Balfe, she leaves behind many dear and loving friends.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, 10 N Pocono Rd, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046. Burial will be private. Please leave a condolence and special memory.
