It is with great sadness that the family of Clement C. “Clem” Lankowski announces he passed away suddenly after a brief illness on January 24, 2018 at the age of 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia’s Church, Rockaway. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-7 pm at the Norman Dean Home for services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. Please share your memories here. His family will cherish them forever.

Clem was Born in Mocanaqua, PA. He lived most of his life in Rockaway Twp. since 1965, coming from Clifton, NJ.  After his schooling he met Elizabeth Rominski. The couple married and eventually settled in Rockaway where they raised their family. They were together for 47 years until she preceded him in death on Sept. 22, 2007. He worked as an electrician at D&C Electrical Contractors for many years, and he was very well respected in his field. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Rockaway. Clem was a big sports fan, faithfully cheering on his beloved NY Giants and NY Mets each season. He also enjoyed watching golf and game shows and he loved being the supervisor on any projects that needed to be done in the house. Clem was a dedicated Christian family man who lived his life selflessly always giving unto others. He exemplified the Lord in his life, and his strong will and fighting spirit were an inspiration to many. Above everything, he loved being with his family, he was so proud of all four of his grandchildren and doted on his two little Great-Grandkids.

His brother Richard and sister-in-law, Kathy both predeceased him.
He leaves beautiful memories to his children, his two sons Clem Jr and Daniel; his daughter Diane, son-in- law Chris, and daughter-in-law Lynda; grandchildren Vanessa, Niko, Hunter, and Zach; his two great- grandchildren Giovanni and Liliana; his brother Bernard and his wife Patricia; and many more wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, friends and neighbors.
