Tony is missed. He was a true friend. His love of country was deep, a true patriot. He loved life, family, Tish, Mason at his very core, and dear friends. He was honest and held himself to very high standards. Tony became my friend as early as 1989 when we worked together. We shared many a laugh, a tear but most of all dual respect. Our commonalities were many so when we went separate ways, as life takes us, we never lost the bond we had. The bond would never be broken. Not even now as he is resting in peace with our dear Lord. Tony will always be a best friend.

Although, I have not spoken with Tony for many years the fond memories of our friendship will remain forever. His dedication and commitment to love, life and Country were deep and unwavering. So much of who I am today, is a result of the friendship we shared. For that, I am grateful to have met him and spent significant time together.
My deepest sympathy goes to his family, especially his wife Tish and their son Mason.
Rest in peace Marine. Semper Fi....

I’m glad to have had Tony as a friend. He was a good man, his laugh was boisterous and infectious, something I’ll never forget. He was always an inspiration through his dedication to health, and the martial arts. He helped make me who I am today. He’s the first Marine I ever really got to know, and he’s the image in my head whenever I think of the Marine Corps.
We lost one of the good ones on Sunday. He will be sorely missed.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Egan family. Especially his wife Letitia and his son Mason whom I have had the honor of teaching him piano. Tony was a devoted family man and adored his son. Listening to Mason taking his piano lesson from me, Tony would often make encouragements such as 'you nailed it' when he played something perfect. Mason loved his dad and they were a blessing to each other. Tony's attitude in dealing with his illness was remarkable. He showed an immense amount of courage and I can't say enough about having known both Tony and Mason. I will miss him a lot as we always had a pleasant conversation at each of Mason's piano lesson. God bless Tony and I trust that he will be granted eternal rest in the peace of Christ.

I knew Tony for the last 6 Years and they will never be a more loyal and honest friend. We worked together and went through some tough times together. I promised Tony that I would help Mason get into the Naval Academy and I will do everything within my power to make it so. Mason your father was a true warrior and his spirit and love will be with you always. If you ever need anything the answer is yes up front, all you have to do is tell me. My number is 201 931 6250 and my email is os4185@aol.com. In the Marines or Navy we never left a man behind and we will take Tony with us for the rest of our lives.

It was wonderful to share the last 26 years with you as your friend. I would have never laughed as hard as I did or enjoy the things we did if it was not for you. Your passion for everything and everyone was contagious, as a father, a husband and a patriot. I will sorely miss our conversations and will eternally be grateful for your friendship. Semper Fi.
