Obituary of Kenneth Myron Preston
Kenneth Myron Preston passed away at his home in Flanders, NJ at the age of 79. He will be greatly missed by many dear relatives and friends.
He was born in Flushing, New York to his parents Myron Preston and Mary Preston (MaGee). He joined the Army, becoming Military Police during the Cold War. His service and dedication to this country will never be forgotten. After the Army Kenneth attended New York University and endured his studies in philosophy and history.
Kenneth was a very simple man. He enjoyed the little things in life and never took anything for granted. He loved to know the news of the world; reading historical novels, philosophical and political. When he would turn on the television his favorite shows were Abbott and Costello and the Dead End Kids. Kenneth enjoyed music; especially jazz and going to the race track to see which horse was going to win. Above all, family was always his number one in life.
Kenneth was predeceased by his sister Jean Williams. He leaves happy memories to his sister Marjorie Philippe; nieces Jane Freda, Rebecca Toledo, Jill Williams; nephew Rick Williams (Sandra); seven great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great- niece.
In his memory donations are being made to the good works of Lutheran Ministries by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org. Please share a memory or leave a condolence for his family.
