Caroline “Carole” Magee Sederberg passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Merry Heart of Boonton Nursing Home. She was 91 years young.

Caroline was born and raised in Morristown, NJ to the late Floyd and Caroline Law. She was raised in both Madison and Whippany, NJ. She attended Plainfield Academy and graduated from Madison High School and Barbizon School of Modeling in N.Y.C. where she worked as a Runway Model for many years. Besides being a wonderful mother, being a Model was her proudest accomplishment. A very dedicated and hard worker, Carole also worked at Bell Telephone, Bambergers Dept. Store, Chatham Electronics, and Sears Catalog. When she wasn’t hard at work, she enjoyed reading and swimming.

In the 1947, she married her first love, William R. Magee, who passed in 1979. Together they lived in Denville and started their family. In 1983, Carole relocated to North Port, FL to get a fresh beginning to life. She met her second love, Richard Sederberg and they married in 1992. By 2000, she was living in Sun City Center, FL, having spent 30 years in FL before returning back to NJ in 2014.

Caroline was predeceased by her husband, William R. Magee in 1979 and 2nd husband, Richard Sederberg in 2004 and her siblings, Paul Law, Phyllis Penrose, Sallie Heart, and Mildred “Millie” Crum.

Left to remember the joyful memories she gave us are her adored children, Barbara E. Taylor and her husband Charles W. of Denville and Bruce W. Magee and his wife Adrienne of Hopatcong, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Jason Vitaletti and his wife Amy, Breanna Vitaletti, Alisha Vitaletti,Daniel Vitaletti and Sara Magee; her treasured great-grandchildren, Lynnea and Kayla Vitaletti; her caring sister, Peggy Osmers; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Burial and Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Memorial Donations are being accepted in Caroline’s memory to the Denville Fire Department by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org. Please leave a condolence and special memory for her family.
