Obituary of Carroll T. Ciurczak

Please share a memory of Carroll to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Carroll Teresa Ciurczak, adored wife and proud mother of five, passed away on August 18, 2017.

Carroll was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Ciurczak, to whom she was happily married for over 50 years.

She will always be missed by her five children, Mary Beth Konrad, Regina Ciurczak, Bob Ciurczak Jr., John Ciurczak, and Amy Franze. As well as her five grandchildren, Bobby and Katie Ciurczak, Nate and Jenna Franze, Reynolds Kennedy and her great grandson Charlie Ciurczak.

Those who mourn her loss also include her three son-in-laws, Dick Konrad, Richard Kennedy and Harry Franze. As well as her daughter-in-law Alicia Ciurczak.

Carroll was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. Born in Newark, on one of the coldest days ever recorded there, February 9, 1934. Carroll graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, in Montclair. She lived in both East and West Orange, then she and Bob moved to Succasunna to raise their children. They retired to the lovely town of Belvedere.

Carroll was an active volunteer at St. Therese Church, helping with the food pantry program. After her children were grown, she worked for a pediatric neurologist. She found both of these experiences to be very rewarding.

Carroll loved to play bridge, she was quite a skilled player. Her favorite treats were meals at Panera Bakery and chocolate caramel candy, from Nagels Candy Barn. For fun, she enjoyed dancing and traveling to visit family all across the country.

Relatives and Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 29th, from 2-6pm. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm at Norman Dean, located at 16 Righter Ave, in Denville New Jersey. ( please light a candle in memory on the web site). In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
