Obituary of Eleanor J. Dolan
Please share a memory of Eleanor to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eleanor Dolan, 93, of Denville, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday April 14th after a recent illness. She was the widow of the late Vincent Dolan who passed away in 1985. She is now reunited with him after missing him for so many years.
Eleanor leaves behind her daughter and son: Gail Dolan of Whitefish, MT and her husband Milt Webster and Doug Dolan of Denville, NJ and his wife Nancy. She also leaves behind her beloved twin granddaughters, Erin and Shannon Dolan of Denville, who will dearly miss their Nana.
Born in 1923 in Brooklyn, NY as Eleanor Mayer, she lived much of her early life in Brooklyn, moving to Brentwood, Long Island in 1960 with her family. She later lived in West Milford, NJ for a number of years and had resided in Denville for the last 20 years.
Eleanor was an original resident at Cooks Pond Senior Housing in Denville. She gained much joy through the years from her grandchildren and has loved watching them grow into young women.
