Obituary of Jane R. Vanderhoof
Please share a memory of Jane to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jane R. Vanderhoof passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was 82 years young.
Born in Dover, she has been a lifelong Rockaway and Denville Resident. Jane was raised in Rockaway and relocated to Denville in 1958 when she married her soulmate, Robert M. Vanderhoof. It was there that they raised their family. Jane was a sincere, thoughtful, loving, and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She took on the role of caregiver to everyone in her life. She lived a simple life that was devoted to her family and friends, spending as much time with them as possible; especially her grandchildren. She will forever live on in our hearts and souls.
Daughter of the late John and Helen Richards, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert and her adored children, Kathi, Brian, and Todd. Left to keep her legacy alive is her loving children, Greg and his wife Faith and Bruce and his wife Monica; her cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Sarah; and her caring sister, Nancy VanEvera.
Burial will be private. Please leave a condolence for her family. Memorial Donations can be made in her memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
