Donations in her name may be made to the good work of some dear charities by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org Stephanie was born in Passaic to the late Jan and Eva Ziemba. After her schooling she married Mickey Travers and the couple settled in Bergen County. As their family grew, they moved to Montville where she has been for over 50 years. Steffy was an amazing Mom and Grandma and she had a unique and special relationship with each child. She put everyone’s needs above her own and welcomed all into her home and heart. Her family meant everything to her and she instilled in them the values and traditions that she held so dear. A woman of deep faith, she has been a parishioner of St. Pius X since 1964. She was faithful to the Blessed Mother and has always held a strong trust in the Lord. She has been very active in the church and was the president of the Rosary Society for many years. Steffy was a do-er and made things happen. When she wasn’t at church, she could be found cooking, baking or playing cards with family and friends. Our Mom will truly be missed beyond words. Predeceased by her husband Joseph “Mickey” Travers, her sister Victoria Brown and her brothers John and Stanley; she leaves happy memories to her children Michael (Debbie), Ken (Lynne), Lisa Voll (Bill), Maryann DeFlumeri (Jim), Lauren Schroeder (Doug), John, Tom and Gina Old (Forrest). She was the proud Grandma to sixteen and most recently the doting Great Grandma to six little ones. She is also survived by her brother Tony Ziemba (Dottie), her nephew Donald Ziemba and many more dear relatives and friends. All That I Am Or Hope To Be, I Owe To My Angel Mother…..
