Despite recent differences, Uncle Chris will always remain Uncle Chris in my eyes- his name and place in my life since I was born. He was a great father and provider. He did very well for his family and definitely loved them dearly. I'll miss his holiday jokes and political (and cynical) ramblings. I wish I could have had more of that in recent years. Rest in peace, Uncle Chris, and know that your family will do just fine because you set them up to do so. My love and deepest sympathy to Aunt Sue, Tommy, Danny and Sarah. Xoxo

Dear Suzanne, Thomas, Daniel and Sarah:
The news of Chris's passing was met with great sorrow here at Orrick. Those of us who had the pleasure to work with him and call him friend during his many years here were hard hit by the news. He was a hardworking, honest guy, and we had a lot of laughs together. I would suggest a crazy idea on how to set up an event in small space and then he would figure out a way to do it. I know how much he adored you all. I don't use the word "adored" lightly...he truly did. His love and pride for all of you was something he shared often. I was sorry to lose touch with him the last several years, but I thought of him often. He had you, so I knew he was good no matter what.
The days ahead will be long and hard. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. I wish you peace and consolation as you come to grips with this terrible loss. Chris would want you to be happy, and I hope some day soon the sadness of his death will fade as you remember the joy that was his life.
With sincerest sympathy,
Cathy Daniels

Dear Walsh Family,
I hope it is of some comfort for you to know how highly regarded Chris was by his co-workers at Orrick. He was smart, easy going, and had a great sense of humor. Those traits, combined with his extensive knowledge, made it a pleasure to work along side Chris.
Over the years we worked together, we would swap family stories, and it was crystal clear to me how much love there was in the Walsh family.
Please accept my condolences for your loss.
Kind regards,
Carol Nash

There is no way to understand why God brought you back home instead of allowing you to stay with your family. We can only assume he felt you did all you could for your wife and children and now he brings you home to live in peace watching over them as their own private angel. They will go on with you watching and guiding. They will use everything you taught them to be the people you hoped they would be and so much more. I am very sorry for their pain. Broken hearts from the death of a loved one is the worst kind of pain. I pray the lord helps them through it. No matter what, my door will always be open to help all of them if they want it. Rest in peace Chris. You will be missed but never forgotten. God Bless You, Jo-Ann DeRosa-Caskey

Ray, Kevin, Chris, Barry, Chip, Michael, and ... the guys in "the group". Chris, Michaelann, Karen, Debbie Arkin, me, and ... - the girls. Chris' smile stands out strong in that picture and in my memory banks. Seems like we are somehow there, flying model airplanes, goofing around, frozen in time and space! May his happy and zany energy sustain you and heal those cracked places where God is letting the light in now. Love you guys, so sorry to hear the news, my condolences and tears. Fly free Chris! Deb

What can I say about Chris, that everyone hasn't already said. He was my first true close friend I ever had in high school and never experienced since. He introduced me to others that became good friends to. We developed a group of friends simply called"the group". Sadly I moved away to college and we lost touch. I never really knew his wife or kids but I know he was a great husband and fathet. His sense of humor was amazing. I love you brother and my condolences to all of your family and friends. Rest in Peace and always remember " I got gude!
Ray"
