With loving thoughts I offer my sincere condolences.
No words can adequately honor this beautiful, strong woman that impacted so many Green Pond kids from my generation. Many of us affectionately called her Mom. I am thankful for moments shared with Mary Lou and cherish the memories of her smile, kind heart and positive spirit.
Thinking of each of you and keeping you in my prayers.

Susie, Jeanne, Doug, Linny, Mary Lou and Family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Mary Lou was a constant and welcoming presence during my time growing up in GP. She had such positive energy and always greeted me with a smile and a great big “hello Geoffrey.” Words fall short in describing what a kind and caring soul she was. Good ones like her don’t come around very often. She will be missed!

I had the good fortune to meet Mary Lou when she lived on Cliffside and was selling the stackable washer/dryer she used while living above the GPYC. I had such a wonderful visit with her, and learned that she had lived in the very house I had bought in Green Pond on Notch Road. Subsequent to our meeting, I invited her and another Green Pond acquaintance to my house for dinner, and spent a wonderful evening together. Mary Lou expressed such true delight at seeing her old home in its current state. I am sad to learn she has left us; she had such a vibrancy about her, and her remaining years at the Pond she was always ready with a smile and a big hello. Thinking of her family and those who loved her.
