I am soirry I was not able to make it to the viewing. Unfortunately? I have been having my own health problems these last couple of years so? Sadly? I spend more times at the doctors office than I do home anymore.
However? My thoughts & prayers are with all of you. Especially you Jeff. You & I haven't seen each other since HS. Miss ya old friend. I pray that all is well with you & the rest of the family.
Bob & I didn't know each other "real" well but? For a while there though? It seemed like him & I would always run into each other at mutual friends houses & such & quite often we would also have guitars in hand so? The inevitable would happen & we would end up in a jam. And with Bob? It was ALWAYS GOOD! In fact? GREAT! ... He was truly a talented player. I so wish we had had the chance to have had done it more.
Rest in Peace my Brother.
And may I wish that his memory brings feelings of love & peace to you all.
God Bless, Peace, Namaste

My Heart & Prayers go out to Jeff & of course, the rest of the family, & friends of whom he had many.
You were taken from us way too soon my friend. I will always treasure the memories of you & I jamming together at different parties & places over the years.
You were one of the few guitarists that I have played with in my life where our musical chemistry was truly magical! ... And? it was instant!
I remember the first time we played together. Right from the first note? It was as if you & I had played with each other all our lives. Those are the kind of magical moments that us musicians live for. Times when everything comes together perfectly first time through ... effortlessly. You were that kind of player.
Playing with you made mine & everyone else's job easier. It was always a pleasure when we were lucky enough to run into each other with our guitars in hand. I wish we had made the time to do it more ... MUCH more. I'll will miss you my friend. However? I am not sad ... Fore I am sure we will see each other again one day. That I am sure of.
Until then?
Play on my Brother. I am sure Heavens Band has wlcomed you with open arms! :-)

I called him Mr. Bob. It's a nickname obtained at Pine Crest Day Camp, about 40 years ago, where we both worked one summer. The kids loved Mr. Bob. Who didn't? Living on the West Shore, I often got to see Mr. Bob, parked in one of his favorite spots, looking out at the lake. Jimmy and I saw him in that exact spot over the July 4th weekend. We're so happy that we had that last conversation with him. Rest in peace our friend. Love to the whole Gormley family.

So sorry to hear about Bob, I am sure he will be missed by many.
He and I were the same age, and from about age three to thirteen I spent two or three weeks with my grandparents at GP each summer. Most of my time during my weeks there was spent with Bob, Bruce Clark, Pete, and Chris. Some of the best Memories of my childhood are of time spent with them at GP.
Two weeks ago I was traveling through NJ and stopped by the lake. While there I saw Bob and Chris for the first time in about thirty years. We got to catch up on things and just had a nice visit. I am so thankful I got to see my old friend Bob one last time.

My Prayers to the Gormley family.
It's been many years since we shared some good times. Your family has lost part of its soul, but you will carry on. Bobby was a quiet good man, a gentle spirit as I remember him. His goodness will be with you forever. May all the friends and family carry you through this difficult time.
Chris & Sue you know you two were special friends Love to you all

I knew Bob a long, long time ago. We actually dated for a while. He was the kindest, most gentle man I've ever known ~ as well as sharing a mutual love of the Grateful Dead. Geoff, my sympathy to you and yours. I've been gone from Marcella for over 35 years, but have so many fond memories and Bob is a good part of those.

There is an empty chair tonight in a quiet backyard facing the mountain under a dome of stars with music playing in the background. There is a road, no simple highway, between the dawn and the dark of night, and if you go, no one may follow, that path is for your steps alone.
May you rest in peace my friend until such time we meet again to share a thought, a song, a laugh. May your family and friends be comforted by memories of your smile and good times. May the music never stop.

Such a kind and gentle soul - he will be missed on my walks and by all who knew him. Bob and I had a standing joke between us that we would revisit occasionally over the past twenty years. Thinking about it now, it makes me smile. Rest in peace. Bob, and God Bless.

Bob was a great person. He taught my brother Robbie how to play guitar when Robbie was just a kid in Green Pond. Playing guitar was one if Robbie's greatest happiness. Robbie and Bob had a friendship and a true bond that carried through their lives. My parents Bob and Connie were so pleased with what a wonderful teacher Bob was ! The whole Boyle family is so appreciative of Bob and how he helped my brother find some happiness in his life. I was so happy to have come back to GP for a visit with Mary Pat Fox just a few weeks ago and got a chance to sit and visit with Bob. It was so great to catch up on our lives! We talked about Robbie's old Martin guitar too and I told Bob that there was no o w else in earth he'd rather have it, if I could find it!
I know now that Bob and Robbie are playing their music together wherever they are and that's a comforting thought.
