Obituary of Janet H Wolf

Janet H. Wolf, 94, died on July 17, 2016 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Covington, Kentucky and was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan, she moved to New York City to pursue an acting career while working as a legal assistant. She lived in Maplewood, Montville and moved to Franciscan Oaks in Denville in 2001. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John E. Wolf. She was active in Maplewood’s St. George’s Episcopal Church, Montville’s Church of the Transfiguration, Denville’s Church of the Savior, the New Jersey Alumnae Club of Alpha Gamma Delta, Rock Spring Golf Club, and Peace Pipe Golf Club. She was an avid golfer, bowler, bridge player, gourmet cook, quilter, and world traveller. She is survived by three children, Edward C. Wolf of Riverton, WY; Linda W. King of Rockland, MA; Rodger J. Wolf and his wife Robin B. Wolf of Pine Brook, NJ; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Go Devils, Nets, and Mets!
