Obituary of Michele Mary Spadone

Michele Mary Spadone (Shanley) passed away at her home in Denville, NJ on June 21, 2016, at the age of 60.
Born in Newark, she grew up in East Orange and had lived in Denville, NJ for the last 35+ years.
Michele worked an engineer at Bell Telephone in Cedar Knolls, NJ for 25 years before retiring in 1993 to stay at home and raise her two boys . She then worked as a teller for various banks in the area. She was president of the Riverview School P.T.A., a parishioner at St. Mary's Church, a volunteer at St. Clare's Hospital & The Joey Bella Memorial Fund, and a Morris Knolls hockey fan. She loved cats and had 3, Chloe, Zoe & Ying. She also loved visiting Mt. Airy Lodge and playing slot machines.
Michele had an array of friends, both old and new. She was someone you can count on in both good times and bad. Her generosity of heart, as well as her loyalty and selflessness are some of the qualities we will miss the most. She was always interested in helping other's in time of sickness, her commitment unwavering
Michele was predeceased by her husband Dennis F. Spadone in 2014.
She is survived by her beloved children Christopher and his wife Kathleen Spadone of Stamford, CT. and Nicholas Spadone of Ticonderoga, NY. Her loving sisters Joan Shanley and Michael DiMeo of Parsippany, Marlene Shanley of Netcong, Lorraine and her husband Daniel Caffrey of Morris Twp, and Mary and her husband Tony Ratchford of Mt. Lakes, NJ as well as her sister in-law Jennifer Rosania of Parsippany, NJ.
The wake will be held from 3-7 on Friday June 24th at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville NJ.
Funeral services will begin at 9am on Saturday June 25, 2016 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10am Liturgy of Christian Mass.
Donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by way of www.inmemory-memorial.org.
