Kate Ann retired from the staff of New York Hospital. In her leisure time she enjoyed world travel and her “wee cottage” as she referred to her house in the Indian Lake section of Denville. Kate Ann will always be remembered by those who knew her best for her uncanny knack of adding a spark to any conversation. She always had a cup of tea waiting for visitors and baked wonderful Irish Soda Bread. She was predeceased by her brother, Rev. Anthony McLaughlin, also of Denville in 2011; her brothers John, William, James, Paul, Edward, Gerard, Eugene, Daniel; and her sister,Sr. Ignatius Anthony. She is survived by her sisters Susan Evans of Neath, Wales, Eileen McLaughlin of Carndonagh, Ireland, and many other relatives and friends.
