Obituary of Joan M Filip

Joan M. Filip, 82, died on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at her home in Denville, NJ. Joan was born in New York City, daughter of Ladislav and Edith Linek and they lived in Astoria, Queens, New York before she and her husband Henry moved to Denville in 1959. She had worked for Redmond Press in Denville before going to work for B.A.S.F. in Mt. Olive where she worked with computers for many years, retiring in 2002. Her husband Henry died in 1979 and she is survived by her son David and his wife Lorraine of Lee, MA., and her daughter Diane and her husband James Cuneo of Denville. She is also survived by the loves of her life, her three grandchildren Jennifer Filip of New York City, Nicholas Cuneo and Chelsea Cuneo, both of Denville, NJ. Friends and family will be visiting on Friday March 4, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ. She will be buried with her husband at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover, NJ. Donations are being accepted to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929
