Obituary of Ellyn Hill
Please share a memory of Ellyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ellyn Hill, passed away at her home on Monday, February 1, 2016. She was 64 years young. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5th from 4-6 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Prayers will be said at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the good work of St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center may be made.
Ellyn grew up in Scotch Plains, graduating from Union Catholic High. Soon after, she met and married Patrick Hill. The couple lived in Scotch Plains and later settled in Boonton Township where they raised their family. Ellyn was an awesome wife and an extraordinary Mom. She always put the needs of her boys and friends first. When she wasn’t cooking a wonderful meal or enjoying the company of her family; she could be found on the golf course or helping out a friend in need. Ellyn fought a hard fight with her diagnosis. Her incredible spirit will never leave us.
She leaves only happy memories to her husband Patrick; sons Kory and Keith; parents Joseph and Marie Stauder; her brother Donald; loyal felines Jägermeister and Bailey; and many more loving relatives and friends.
