Obituary of Irene Laska

Irene (Pulkowski) Laska passed away on January 8, 2016, at the age of 98. Born in Queens, she moved to Denville, NJ in 1961. Irene worked alongside her husband in their family business. She was a proud member of the Denville Senior Center for over 35 years where she had many close friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Edmund L. Laska in 2001 and daughter Dorothy Ashley in 1984. Irene is survived by her beloved sister Veronica Crosson of FL, loving children Edmund Laska of Denville, NJ and Christine Curtis of VA and her oldest grandson; David Ashley of FL who was more of a son than a grandson and her 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Granddaughter. Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Wednesday January 13, 2015 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Denville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, we request a donation to the Denville Senior Center.
